How to pick typefaces

Explore typography with Pooja Saxena in this hands-on workshop. Pooja interned with the fonts team at Apple, contributed to Google Fonts, and founded her design studio, Matra Type.

This workshop will help you learn how to pick and pair typefaces, communicate the rationale for your choices, and design interfaces with great typography.

The Mac was the first computer with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts.
